London’s only lighthouse over 3 floors.

Ground floor entrance to base of stairwell through original wooden doorway with Victorian brickwork.

First floor mezzanine with Tibetan singing bowl sound-art installation on curved metal stands, original wooden beams in vaulted ceiling. Stairwell continues up curving around the internal lighthouse wall, original Victorian brickwork.

Top floor - Lighthouse Lantern-Room – original diamond patterned glass windows with panoramic views of the River Thames including the Docklands skyline, the O2 arena and the Emirates Airline. Access to external balcony of lighthouse possible on request.

There is a private pier at this location so access by boat is possible.

TRANSPORT: Arrive/depart by boat to the private pier. DLR to East India. Tube to Canning Town. Close to the North side of the Blackwall tunnel.

LIGHTING: Standard lighting rig includes pin spots on the sound-art installation and light-sensitive up lighting internal and external lantern room.
